2008 Team Profile

The goal for 2008 is to impact Laos through a kid's camp, medical and dental aid, rebuild a schoolhouse, deliver school supplies, and of course; dinner and a movie.

Objectives

Kid's Camp

Last year's camp was a huge success, so we plan to hold a similar event this year. The camp will include games and crafts, as well as the highlight - a Polaroid picture for each child. These are the first "school pictures" each child has ever had, and possibly their first picture of any kind.

Medical & Dental

For the first time we will have a nurse joining us to provide medical treatment and education. Also, dentist Greg Armi, who joined us on our first trip will again provide cleanings and dental education.

Rebuild Schoolhouse

The current Schoolhouse has leaks, causing the school to close during rainstorms.

School Supplies

We hope to provide pens, pencils, paper and chalk for the local schools.

Dinner & A Movie

We hope to provide dinner for the entire village each night. In addition, we will show movies and pictures taken each day - always a highlight for the villagers!
